Bonjour a tous. je viens de lancer beryl, et .................. wahou !!!!!
mais je le trouve extremement lent sur ma machine, et pas moyen de faire tourner plusieurs fonctions ( neige, pluie, ... ).
au niveau matériel, j'ai 1Go de Ram, et une ATI x600 Pro 256 mb sur un pc fixe (proc PIV 3.2HT), si ca peut vous aider.
je remarque un certain nombre d'erreurs au démarrage de beryl:

je pense que ca vient de mon driver ati qui n'est pas optimisé, mais vers lequel dois je me tourner? j'ai entendu parler de plusieurs: radeon, fglrx (compliqué a installer il me semble), et vesa (pas génial je crois).
est ce vraiment de la que vient le probleme ?
mon xorg est il optimisé ?

j'y connais pas grand chose à beryl mais il me semble avoir lu quelque part que'avec le driver proepriétaire ati il fallait absolument désactiver l'option composite du xorg.conf, essaie de de commenter les 3 dernières lignes et relancer X pour voir !
